EC28 DAR Transmitter

Display, Alarm and Relay for Safety in Ex Zones

Whenever toxic gases, hydrogen or oxygen need to be monitored and you want the current measured values to be displayed locally, the EC28 DAR transmitter combined with one of GfG‘s reliable controllers is the best solution. The ATEX-certified design means it can be used even in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Communication and service
The EC28 DAR communicates using a 4-20 mA signal. Its Smart Sensor technology ensures fast and easy sensor replacements. Adjustments can be made using the RC2 remote control (one-person calibration).

Display, control buttons and alarms
The EC28 DAR transmitter features a 2.2 inch LC display and three control buttons. In normal operation, the display shows the measured value or information on faults or alarms. The operating parameters (measured gas, measuring range, limit values, etc.) can also be accessed using the intuitive control buttons. The EC28 DAR has highly visible red alarm LEDs, a loud integrated buzzer (90 dB) and an additional relay. This way, local and external alarms, such as aflashing lights, buzzers and information signs, can be triggered simultaneously via optional alarm transmitters.

Reliable measurement & minimal operating costs
Its sensor and built-in temperature compensation guarantee high measuring accuracy. The long sensor service life and low maintenance requirements ensure minimal operating costs.
